Louisa joined Hawkins Wright in April 2015 from commodity price reporting agency Argus Media, where she was employed as a Deputy Editor on the company’s weekly biomass market report. She started working in the industry in 2011 and has since developed expertise in the fields of wood pellet & chip trade, supply, pricing and policy. At Hawkins Wright, Louisa is a co-author of both Forest Energy Monitor and the Outlook for Wood Pellets, and she is also involved in the development of new multi-client services in the bioenergy sector.
Louisa has also spent time working in the commercial side of the market, importing West African rubber wood chips into Europe for energy. She has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath.
