Nordic Baltic Bioenergy conference general information, terms & conditions

Conference registration

All delegates and exhibitors shall register at the conference registration desk, located at the entrance to the Nordic Baltic Bioenergy Conference at Messukeskus conference area.

Admission fees

Conference admission fee is EUR 830 for the three days 29-31 March 2017 and a special rate of EUR 730 is applicable to members of Svebio (Swedish Bioenergy Association), Bioenergia ry (Bioenergy Association of Finland) and WBA (World Bioenergy Association). Special rate for participants from Baltic countries, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland is EUR 490, (company registered in Eastern Europe).

Two day fee, 29-30 March 2017 conference attendance price is EUR 790 and EUR 690 respectively. Special price for participants from Baltic countries, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland is EUR 460, (company registered in Eastern Europe).

One day fee, 29 or 30 March 2017, conference attendance price is EUR 490 and EUR 430 respectively. Special rate for participants from Baltic countries, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland is EUR 290, (company registered in Eastern Europe).

Students (enrolled in a bioenergy program) EUR 150.

Registration is complete upon receiving the payment.

Networking coffee breaks, lunches and conference materials are included in the price. Conference dinner entrance is EUR 60.

There is additional 24% VAT on all fees.


The organizers has reserved hotel rooms at a special rate at two hotels for a limited time only: Hotel Katajanokka, Merikasarminkatu 1 a, Helsinki,  reservations by e-mail or phone +358 9 686 450, reservation code: BNBB280317 (reserved until 27 February 2017) and Scandic Hotel Grand Marina, Katajanokanlaituri 7, Helsinki,  reservations by website or phone +358 9 1666 1, reservation code: BNBB280317 (reserved until 14 March 2017). Please note that the hotel rooms are only reserved for a limited time only. After this date the organizers nor the hotel can guarantee availability of rooms.
Please note that all delegates make their own hotel reservations.

Payment policy

We accept online payments via PayPayl system.
Your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received and may be subject to cancellation.

Substitution & Cancellation Policy

Registration may be transferred to another person in the same company/organization. Cancellations must be sent in writing (refer to “Enquiries” section below for address).
Cancellations received by February 13, 2017 will receive a full refund, less 15%.
Cancellations received between February 13 and February 26, 2017 will receive a 50% refund.
No refund will be given for cancellations after February 26 2017.
Refunds will only be processed after the conference and when requested in writing, signed by the person who requested the service, and will only be made to the original account. Refunds will not be made to another bank account.

Confirmation of registration

After receiving Delegate Registration form and payment, an e-mail confirming your registration and a receipt will be sent to the e-mail address indicated.
Special dietary requirements & disability assistance
Details of requirements you have indicated on your registration form will be passed on to relevant third parties.

Site visit

Tickets to the industry excursion, will be provided when you register at the conference registration desk. Please note that there is a limited number of tickets available for the industry excursion.

Non-smoking policy

The conference will be a smoke free environment. Smoking will not be permitted at the sessions, exhibition or conference functions.


The organizers reserve the right to change speakers and sessions in the conference program at any time.

Privacy Clause

The organizers will only use your personal information for the purposes (primary and secondary) which are permitted by the law.
